We are the #1 insulator of existing homes in the Northern
Virginia & Washington, D.C. Metro area!
1) Can my walls be insulated?
It depends on how old your home is. If your home is brick and block, there is not enough space in the exterior walls to blow in any insulation (less than 1" of space). If your home is brick and frame, and an older home will benefit from having the exterior walls drilled and filled with Cellulose Fiber. This process also seals around the doors, windows, and outlet boxes to help stop air leaks. Call us for more details.
2) Can my garage ceiling be insulated?
Again, it depends on how old your home is. If your wall or ceiling does have empty space, we can blow in Cellulose Fiber Insulation or Fiberglass. Please give us a call, and we can give you a ball-park price on the phone.
3) Do you recommend Cellulose Fiber or Fiberglass Insulation?
We usually recommend blown in Cellulose Fiber because it is not itchy, and it is not a health risk. We will give you blown in Fiberglass, if it is specified as your choice. You could also choose the rolled out type of Fiberglass. We will be happy to let you know which one we think is best for your home, and the choice is yours.
